The Gaddafi Foundation offers humanitarian and developmental support locally and internationally in various life domains; social, economic, cultural and human rights, so as to make this charitable support comprehensive and inclusive of individual, institutions and communities within the framework that goes in line with its humanitarian principles. 

To Get the Foundation’s Support 

The Foundation offers its support in response to the requests it receives. It studies those requests and evaluates them by a specialized team in view to identify whether they deserve the requested support. The Foundation does not offer its support to all requests submitted to it; requests that do not fall within the area of its interests and principles are ignored.

The study and evaluation process of requests submitted to the Foundation are based on the following considerations: 

•Priority of requests that fall within the program and objectives of the Foundation

•Impact of the end results of the activities that need support

•Availability of funds and resources at the Foundation to respond to the activities and cases object of the requests 

In many cases, the Foundation offers its support out of its own initiative without getting any support requests. Counting on its basic work principles, the Foundation may, in many cases, offer its support on an exceptional basis that may differ in character from the Foundation’s support program, and in accordance with recommendations by specialist teams. 

Request Letter Submission 

The request letter submitted to the Foundation needs to be not more than three pages long, and needs to include the following: 

Statement about the request initiator; identity and objectives.

Brief summary of the topics and activities to clarify the general aims and specific objectives, the expected results and their impacts.

The overall required support requested from the Foundation.

The date expected to get such support and its period.
